Christmas has come, and today it is gone.
Preparations made, planning so long.
Christmas is more than what's under the Tree,
it is God's love for you and for me.

A precious Child unlike any other,
Love sent down thru a virtuous Mother.
Jesus was born on a cold winter's night
A manger, coarse hay, and a bright shining light.

Yet year after year, presents are bought,
usually more than most of us ought.
Money spent when all that is needed,
is love, hugs, and the Child's presence heeded.

When Christmas comes around once more,
please remember, the story is more than just lore.
It is our Saviour, who came to save our souls
to Love us, and die for us, to alleve our woes.

With presents wrapped and carols sung,
Remember when the bells are rung.
Sing the words written so long ago,
with praise, and reverence go.

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O holy night, O night divine!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!
